Paseure, on-going living installation, evolved over a period of three years and was shown at the Kansas City Art Institute, CSPS Gallery, Iowa, and the Cedar Valley Nature Center, Iowa. The installation started out as a large 9' x 9' Van Dyke sunprint of various wildflowers and plants. The seeds from those plants were planted in a series of nine square planter boxes, each of which was covered by a portion of the original sunprint. Over time, the plants grew through the sunprint destroying the original image, and eventually was transplanted into part of a natural habitat found at the Cedar Valley Nature Center.
The Paseure Passages Writings:
A book of writings documenting Cooper's experiences and thoughts about the plants and installations accompanied the three-year installation. You can download/view the writings in PDF format by clicking on the following link...Paseure Passages PDF
